A bit about us

Hey! We are the husband and wife behind Ooh, go on then which all started when we were in NYC and wanted to send my Mum video snippets of the amazing food, venues and stores we were experiencing. 

When we were growing up, if Mum wanted something she loved or decided to let us have a treat, should would say "ooh, go on then!" you can have it. This phrase made us laugh so when we were sending her videos of the things we liked in NYC, we would always end the video by saying her phrase!!

Our children saw these little videos and suggested we start up a social media channel on both TikTok and Instagram, which we did. Every time we feature a mug, fashion item or jewellery, our followers ask where they can get them from and so the 'Go On Then' online store was born. 

We have been asked so many times for a little background to us both. We are now semi-retired, enjoying all the freedom that it brings. We met in October 1986 while I was an air stewardess and Simon proposed just six weeks later ... it was a complete whirlwind and the stuff dreams are made of and we're still truly, madly, deeply 40 years on.

I have always loved fashion, jewellery and things for the home, in particular, mugs and it's this mug collection, as mentioned earlier, that has sparked so much interest within our social media posts, along with my fashion and jewellery, so I hope you love the pieces I have curated for you to enjoy.
